Woodland Trail Waldport City
Exploring the coastal habitat is more than the beaches, and no better a place to discover this than the Woodland Trail. Going right through the town of Waldport, the trail has elevation gain of about 50 feet as it winds through the temperate forests. Birding and gazing at flora are top choices along the route, and can be as challenging as one chooses, with the easiest hiking in the lower section along the Red River.
