Hit the Beach 

Gearhart boasts 20 miles of pristine coastline. Enjoy walking along the shore, beachcombing or tidepooling during low tide, and watching the sunset over the majestic ocean. 

Golfing 

Gearhart Golf Links is one of the oldest courses in the Pacific Northwest. Blending traditional design with picturesque landscapes, players of all levels will enjoy an unforgettable day on the greens.  

Exploring Nature 

Visit nearby parks like Del Rey Beach State Recreation Site or Fort Stevens State Park for hiking, bird watching, and picnicking. Take a stroll along the Neacoxie Creek and enjoy the natural, tranquil surroundings. Keep your eye out for a herd of elk that can be seen occasionally roaming the streets and the grounds of the golf course.  

Cycling 

Bring or rent a bike to explore the scenic coastal roads and trails. It’s a great and convenient way to discover the scenic beauty of the area. Nearby Seaside has several bike rental companies to choose from!

Local Dining 

Explore local cafes and restaurants for fresh seafood and other regional dishes. After a long day at the beach or out on the greens, the Sand Trap Pub is a great choice with a fantastic menu offering something for everyone!   

Visit Seaside 

Seaside is a nearby town known as the playground of the Oregon Coast. Explore the shops, arcades, and the famous Seaside Promenade.
