Most locals will say a trip to the Oregon Coast is not complete without trying some fresh clam chowder. Warm up with a piping hot bowl of classic clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl at Driftwood Restaurant. We also love Ecola Seafoods homemade gluten-free clam chowder. 

Indulge in Hot Chocolate

Kids and adults alike will love cozying up with a cup of rich and creamy hot chocolate. You won’t see powder, or chocolate syrup here. Cannon Beach Chocolate Café makes their hot chocolate with the real thing – 70% Colombian chocolate melted down with whole milk (or a non-dairy alternative if requested). Choose from milk or dark chocolate, or Mayan spice.  

Get Toasty with an Adult Beverage

Warm up after a walk on the beach to view the iconic Haystack Rock with a whiskey from MacGregor’s Whiskey Bar, or a hot cocktail from Wayfarer Whiskey Lounge. Sit back, thaw out, and raise a glass to another memorable day discovering the charms of this beloved beach town.  

Pop Into Some Galleries 

Did you know Cannon Beach is known as one of America’s 100 Best Art Towns? Home to over 15 art galleries, take a stroll through Downtown and Midtown to view original works by some of the most successful local, regional, and nationally known artists.  

The annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival takes place in November. Enjoy a variety of art gallery receptions, artist demonstrations, paint classes, live music, and more throughout the town!
