Calling all seafood & wine enthusiasts. Newport’s annual Seafood & Wine Festival will take place this February 22nd – 25th. Participants can enjoy fresh seafood, premium NW wines, live music, a seafood chowder cook-off, and more!

Event History 

The Newport Seafood & Wine Festival is Newport’s largest annual event. It started in 1977 to boost the local economy. The first Seafood & Wine Festival was held in April at the Newport National Guard Armory. The next year, Mo Niemi of Mo’s Restaurant helped increase the size of the event by including thirteen wineries with musicians and arts and craft booths. Today, the four-day event draws thousands of visitors, boasting over 125 vendors including seafood, NW wineries, and artisans all under a tented venue.

Thursday, February 22nd, 5pm – 9pm 

Friday, February 23rd, 12pm – 8pm 

Saturday, February 24th, 10am – 6pm 

Sunday, February 25th, 10am – 4pm

Free shuttle buses are back this year! The buses will run on a continuous 45-minute loop, stopping at most major hotels as well as Nye Beach and the Bayfront.
