December’s Tour of Lights invites visitors to view some of Seaside’s finest seasonal home decorations and vote for their favorite. Ooh and aah as you drive by beautiful homes all aglow. Visit the website for addresses and map links or head into Grocery Outlet for a printed map.
Spot the Reindeer
Support local businesses and get your holiday shopping done by participating in Seaside’s first-ever Reindeer Spree with your little elves. Spot the hidden reindeer inside participating local businesses and receive a free gift or discount from that business. See the website for a list of participating businesses and map links.
Have the people on your list been naughty or nice? For even more holiday shopping, stop by Tipton’s in downtown Seaside, where it is Christmas all year long. Lincoln City
Holiday Markets
Shop and sip as you explore seasonal treasures and sample Pelican Brewing’s seasonal brews at this festive indoor holiday market. December 10, 12pm – 5pm.
Stop by the Salishan Marketplace for Small Business Saturday where you can shop locally. Select shops will be donating a portion of their proceeds from this day to a local charity to give back to the community. December 9, 9am – 5pm.
Finders Keepers
Love the Oregon Trailblazers? An additional 50 red & black glass floats will be dropped along the beach the weekend of December 16 – 17.
To ring in the New Year, 100 extra floats will be dropped along the beach December 30 – January 1, 2024.
Glass floats are hidden year-round, so any season, you can find a treasure from Roads End to Siletz Bay. Happy hunting and remember Finders Keepers! One per household, please.
Jazzy Jam Sunday
Grab the whole family and head down to Beachcrest Brewing Company to enjoy live music. All ages are welcome. No cover charge. December 10 & 17, 4pm – 6pm.
Head to the Lights
Bundle up and head to The Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport where kids of all ages can delight in a sea of lights Friday and Saturday evenings in December from 5pm – 8pm. Stay for photos with Santa, hot cocoa and other festive events.
