The trail traverses diverse landscapes, including forested areas, wetlands, and dunes, before ending at Sunset Beach. Families can hike a portion of the trail or tackle the entire route, depending on their preferences and abilities. Leashed dogs are allowed.

Ecola State Park Trails (Cannon Beach)

Lower Cascade Head Trail (Lincoln City)

Cape Perpetua Trails (Yachats)

Distance: Varies (up to 10 miles round trip)

Difficulty: Easy to moderate

Description: Cape Perpetua offers a network of family-friendly trails that wind through coastal forests, along rocky shorelines, and to scenic viewpoints.
